PREVIEW .MOV OF PRISON FOOTAGE

The full video was given to us 3 days after Katrina by an Orleans Parish Deputy who had been trapped inside the prison complex along with hundreds of guards and their families - and the OPP prisoners. Before getting onto the copter that airlifted him to another shelter, he asked that we get this footage to the news media. We have done just that, given much of this video to the major news networks, beginning in November after the damaged tape was rescued from oblivion. So far only the BBC has aired any of this.

The guards and their families (and yes, the prisoners) were ABANDONED for three days after Katrina struck, they openly speak of the rioting prisoners (who can be heard loud and clear), lack of food and water, as well as their disgust with the Sheriff. You can view 10 minutes of it here - I will continue to push this historic footage by any means I can, the entire world needs to see it.

Any Law Enforcement Agency or Attorney who represents anyone abandoned at the OPP wanting a copy of this footage can email us with contact information and we'll send you the uncut version of the video on DVD (provide a FEDEX number if you want it overnighted).

Get the word out - show everyone you can these omages and movies.

FRIDAY FILMS TO SHOW OPP PRISON FOOTAGE - MORE INFO COMING SOON

Well, after all but giving up on trying to get the word out on this footage, Friday Films (Brooklyn) called me out of the blue wanting to use as much as possible. Other than the BBC or ACLU, they are the first to show any interest. We had been scheduled to appear on a National News program on Mardi Gras day - where we were going to show the world this footage, but we got bumped by the Anna Nicole story (really). Let's hope this new documentary by Friday Films reaches a many eyes as possible. And no, we did not charge them for the footage.
